10 Places Every 10-Year-Old Should See
Robin Esrock channels his inner 10 year-old to find 10 destinations perfect for a kid’s imagination.
I am uniquely qualified to put this list together because I was once 10 years old, and 25 years later, frequently defend accusations that I still behave like one. Whatever your age, here’s a gallery of destinations guaranteed to have your kids (inner and outer) hopping with excitement. Share your own suggestions in the comments below.

4. LEGO Land In 1932, a small wood shop in Denmark produced little interlocking blocks that could be used to build whatever your imagination wanted. In 1940, they moved over to colourful plastic. Today there are four massive theme parks to celebrate the breathtaking LEGO universe - in the UK, USA, Denmark and Germany. Statues, bridges, cars, castles and celebrities have all been constructed in LEGO, and most kids have spent a couple hours creating a LEGO world (with the purpose of annihilating it later). While toy dolls and action figures have their place, without imagination, LEGO is just a bunch of plastic. Other than the rides and flashy bright colours, kids who visit LEGO Land learn about the power of our collective imagination, and fuel up on the inspiration that drives it. (credit: Legoland.com)
