10 Places Every 10-Year-Old Should See
Robin Esrock channels his inner 10 year-old to find 10 destinations perfect for a kid’s imagination.
I am uniquely qualified to put this list together because I was once 10 years old, and 25 years later, frequently defend accusations that I still behave like one. Whatever your age, here’s a gallery of destinations guaranteed to have your kids (inner and outer) hopping with excitement. Share your own suggestions in the comments below.

2. The Local Fair It’s no surprise that the company who owns and operates Canada’s Wonderland in Toronto is listed on the NY Stock Exchange as FUN. The PNE in Vancouver, La Ronde in Montreal, Galaxyland in Edmonton, and local fairs around the country offer all the stimulation a growing child needs. It’s also the perfect place to discover whether they’ll suffer motion sickness problems in later life, not to mention cotton-candy sugar highs. Importantly, kids will learn how to queue and behave well in crowds. This is an excellent skill to master if they hope to have the patience to survive a visit to a theme park with their own kids one day. (credit: Joe Rollerfan)
