Between the stark volcanic landscape, the futuristic industrial power plant, and the the sky-blue thermal waters, there’s a reason why the Blue Lagoon is the biggest tourist attraction in Iceland. The waters themselves are the overflow from the geo-thermic power plant, rich in minerals and healing properties. It’s a slick operation, with digital keycards and even a bar in the springs.
