Indian It’s unnerving to see so many smiling people in conditions that would lead to a riot on Queen Street. Indians smile because they know that no matter what their status, their food is usually transcendent. However hot you like your masala, your korma, curry or your vindaloo, it’s the unique combination of Indian spices that paint even the simplest vegetables into a nutritious masterpiece. For those travellers who fear getting the dreaded Delhi Belly, bear in mind this is a country of vegetarians, so it’s easy to eat like a king without touching meat, egg or dairy.
